OUR PROJECT

Megateq was formed in the year 2018. At the time, Megateq was focusing on
providing software services to customers such as SMEs, GLCs and the Government of Sabah.

2018

Edugo Holidays Sdn Bhd is a tourism-based company that prepares tourism services in Sabah. Megateq assisted Edugo Holidays in becoming a popular search result in online search engines such as Google through their digital marketing services.

Besides that, Megateq developed an official website for Edugo Holidays to facilitate users in obtaining information regarding their offered tourism packages. Megateq also developed a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms to smoothen the rental and payment processes for the aforementioned packages that users were interested in.

As a result of the solutions Megateq provided, Edugo Holidays is now well known by users from Peninsular Malaysia. The total number vacation packages and rental cars that were booked by customers only two months after Megateq launched their promising service showed very encouraging results

2019

Megateq is experienced in providing services to oil & gas companies in Sabah. Evolusi Bersatu Sdn Bhd (EBSB) is one of the most active local service providers for the oil & gas industry in Malaysia with clientele such as Petronas Group of Companies.

In order to make EBSB more productive in the management of their projects, assets and employees, Megateq developed a web-based system called the Evolusi Project Management System (EPMS). Through this system, EBSB executives were able to remotely monitor the performance of their ongoing and completed projects in real-time, without needing to physically be on-premises.

Asset and employee management was also made easier through EPMS due to each user level sharing the same database. This allowed the heads of departments to better monitor and plan on the purchasing of assets and placement of employees in a specific project.

The uniqueness of EPMS was that every user application required conrmation from their respective heads of department to avoid the loss of any asset or the segregation of any employee.

2020

The 15th Pilihan Raya Negeri (PRN) Sabah (i.e. Sabah State Election) was held on 26 September 2020 and involved 73 DUNs in the state of Sabah. Megateq received the trust of SPR Sabah to provide ICT equipment to 35 DUNs covering four zones.

In carrying out this project, Megateq was required to perform accurate analyses regarding the geographical conditions, the delivery time period and the specifications of the ICT equipment that their client needed.

The preparations before, during and after the 15th PRN Sabah by Megateq were very organized and rated highly by the District Officers in the 35 DUNs and by the ICT units of SPR Sabah.

2021

The PDRM uses a software application and database that is both large and complex. To ensure their system runs smooth and its operations work as intended, servers using more advanced technology was needed. As such, Megateq in collaboration with HyperGrid Malaysia has supplied, ran tests, provided training and organized a Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) server for the PDRM environment. Merely two months after its installation, the effectiveness of the HCI technology has been clearly proven by users involved with PDRM.

2021

The Sabah State Health Department opened multiple mega- and mini-vaccination centers throughout the state to facilitate the vaccination against COVID-19 in order to achieve herd immunity. Megateq was able to provide services to assist in this endeavor by supplying ICT equipment to KKM, DBKK, SABAHNET, & the KALABAKAN DISTRICT OFFICE; the equipment supplied included laptops, tablets and printers.
